Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our services. By using Job Network Online, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to Job Network Online, including all websites, services, and applications.
- "Services" refers to all support packages, job matching, and assistance provided by Job Network Online.
- "User" or "You" refers to any individual or entity using our Platform or Services.
- "We", "Us", or "Job Network" refers to Job Network Online.
- "Employer" refers to companies posting job opportunities through our Platform.
- "One Stop Shop" refers to the City of Zagreb's official service center (zagreb.hr).
2. Use of Public Vacancy Data (HZZ) and Reuse
Job Network Online indexes and displays publicly available vacancy information from official public employment services and job portals, including the Croatian Employment Service (Hrvatski zavod za zapošljavanje - HZZ) and Posao.hr.
This indexing and display of public vacancy data is conducted in accordance with:
- Croatian Right of Access to Information Act (ZPPI) – Zakon o pravu na pristup informacijama (NN 25/13, 85/15, 69/22), which establishes the right to access and reuse public sector information
- EU Open Data Directive – Directive (EU) 2019/1024 on open data and the re-use of public sector information, which promotes the availability of public data for reuse across the European Union
Important disclaimers regarding public vacancy data:
- Job Network Online is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of HZZ (Hrvatski zavod za zapošljavanje) or any other public employment service
- We display vacancy information for informational purposes only, with clear source attribution
- Personal data (names, email addresses, telephone numbers) from HZZ job listings are not published on our platform
- Users are directed to apply for positions via the original source (hzz.hr or the respective job portal)
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of indexed vacancy data
- Vacancy information may be removed or updated by the original source at any time
For the most current and authoritative vacancy information, users should always consult the official source directly.
3. Intellectual Property & Anti-Scraping Policy
3.1 Database Rights (Directive 96/9/EC)
The collection of job listings, candidate profiles, and company data on this Platform constitutes a protected database under European Parliament and Council Directive 96/9/EC on the legal protection of databases. Job Network Online creates this database through substantial investment in obtaining, verifying, and presenting the data.
We explicitly prohibit the extraction and/or re-utilization of the whole or of a substantial part, evaluated qualitatively and/or quantitatively, of the contents of this database.
3.2 Prohibition on Automated Collection (Scraping)
You are strictly prohibited from using any automated means (including but not limited to robots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, data mining tools, or AI agents) to:
- Access, query, or download data from the Platform
- Copy or republish our content on other websites or platforms
- Train Machine Learning or AI models (reservation of rights pursuant to Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790)
- Bypass our robot exclusion headers (robots.txt) or other security measures
3.3 Commercial Misuse & Penalties
Unauthorized commercial use, reproduction, or resale of our data is a material breach of these Terms. In the event of a violation, Job Network Online reserves the right to claim immediate liquidated damages(contractual penalty) without prejudice to our right to claim actual damages and legal costs:
- € 5,000.00 per day of violation
- € 500.00 per individual record (job or candidate) scraped or copied
4. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our Services.
Your continued use of the Platform after modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of such changes.
4. Nature of Services
Job Network Online is a volunteer-run platform that provides:
- Job matching and recruitment support services
- Document processing assistance
- Registration support for foreign workers
- Referral services to official government agencies
- General information and guidance
Job Network Online does not provide:
- Legal advice or immigration legal services
- Guaranteed employment or job placement
- Visa or work permit guarantees
- Legal representation before authorities
- Accommodation provision (employers arrange accommodation)
5. Legal Services Disclaimer
Job Network Online is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, immigration legal services, or legal representation of any kind.
We provide general information and administrative support only. Any information provided by Job Network should not be construed as legal advice. We recommend that you consult with qualified immigration attorneys or legal professionals for matters concerning:
- Visa applications and requirements
- Work permits and residence permits
- Immigration law and procedures
- Employment contracts and labor law
- Your legal rights and obligations
For official government services and legal matters, we may refer you to the One Stop Shop (City of Zagreb official service center) or other qualified legal professionals. These referrals are provided as a courtesy. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the services provided by third parties.
6. Support Packages & Services
5.1 Basic Support Package (€2,500)
For seasonal employment contracts only.
Includes:
- One-way flight ticket to Zagreb, Croatia
- Document processing assistance
- Registration support
- General guidance
Does not include: Job Network Online membership, return flight, or ongoing personal support.
5.2 Standard Support Package (€5,000)
For annual employment contracts.
Includes:
- One-way flight ticket to Zagreb, Croatia
- 1-year Job Network Online membership (access to job pool)
- Priority job matching services
- Interview preparation support
- Document processing and registration assistance
- All services from Basic Package
5.3 Premium Support Package (€6,000)
For annual employment contracts with enhanced support.
Includes:
- Return flight ticket to Zagreb, Croatia (valid for 365 days from issue date)
- 1-year Job Network Online membership (access to job pool)
- Personal dedicated support throughout your journey
- Support with housing issues (employer arranges accommodation, we provide support if issues arise)
- Priority job matching and interview preparation
- Ongoing support until job start
- All services from Standard Package
Return Flight Ticket Conditions (Premium Package Only):
- Valid for 365 days from the date of issue
- Subject to airline availability and booking conditions
- Unused tickets may not be refunded or transferred
- Return flight is forfeited if support services are terminated due to terms violation
7. Payment Terms
- All payments must be made in full before services commence
- Prices are stated in Euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable taxes
- Payment methods accepted will be specified at the time of booking
- Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy (see Section 14)
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice
8. Termination of Services Due to Law Violations
All support services and personal assistance will be immediately terminated without refund if you engage in any of the following:
- Violation of Croatian, European Union, or international laws
- Providing false, fraudulent, or misleading information or documents
- Engagement in illegal employment or unauthorized work
- Criminal activity of any kind
- Violation of visa or work permit conditions
- Breach of employment contract terms
- Misrepresentation of qualifications, identity, or legal status
In the event of termination due to law violations:
- All personal support services cease immediately
- Return flight tickets (if applicable) are forfeited
- Job Network Online membership is revoked
- No refunds will be issued
- We reserve the right to report violations to appropriate authorities
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Job Network Online, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Employment outcomes, job placement success, or failure to secure employment
- Visa or work permit application denials or delays
- Immigration decisions made by government authorities
- Actions or omissions of employers, including but not limited to:
- Breach of employment contracts
- Non-payment of wages
- Unsafe working conditions
- Discrimination or harassment
- Termination of employment
- Accommodation issues, disputes, or quality (employer responsibility)
- Travel delays, cancellations, or changes to flight schedules
- Medical emergencies, illness, or injury
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Third-party services, including referrals to One Stop Shop or legal professionals
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information provided on the Platform
- Technical failures, system downtime, or data breaches
- Currency fluctuations or exchange rate changes
- Changes in immigration laws, policies, or procedures
- Force majeure events (see Section 12)
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
10. No Guarantees or Warranties
Job Network Online provides services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- No guarantee of employment, job placement, or job offers
- No guarantee of visa or work permit approval
- No guarantee of specific salary levels or employment conditions
- No guarantee of accommodation quality or availability
- No warranty of uninterrupted or error-free service
- No warranty that our services will meet your specific requirements
- No endorsement or verification of employer legitimacy or job postings
We explicitly disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. User Responsibilities
By using our Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all times
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and visa/work permit conditions
- Obtain independent legal advice regarding immigration and employment matters
- Verify all information provided by employers independently
- Report any suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal activity
- Understand that you are solely responsible for your immigration status and legal compliance
- Pay all fees and charges in accordance with these Terms
- Not misuse the Platform or engage in unauthorized activities
12. Force Majeure
Job Network Online shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
- Changes in immigration laws or policies
- Airline strikes, cancellations, or route changes
- Internet or telecommunications failures
- Acts of God or other events outside our control
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Job Network Online, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms & Conditions
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your violation of any rights of third parties
- Your use or misuse of our Services
- Any false or misleading information you provide
14. Refund Policy
- No refunds will be issued after services have commenced
- No refunds for services terminated due to user violation of these Terms
- No refunds for visa or work permit denials by government authorities
- No refunds if you voluntarily withdraw from the program
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of payment
- Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 30 business days
- Flight tickets, once issued, are subject to airline cancellation policies
15. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR/AVG)
14.1 Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Job Network Online is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR/AVG) and applicable European and Dutch data protection laws. We process personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and we respect your fundamental rights to privacy and data protection.
Your personal data is kept confidential and is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties.
14.2 Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
- Consent: You have given clear, informed, and freely given consent for specific processing purposes
- Contract necessity: Processing is required to fulfill our support services and employment matching contract with you
- Legal obligation: We must process your data to comply with Croatian, EU, or international legal requirements
- Legitimate interests: Processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests (e.g., fraud prevention, network security), balanced against your rights
14.3 Data Protection Principles
We adhere to the following core GDPR/AVG principles:
- Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency: We process data legally and openly communicate what we collect and why
- Purpose limitation: Data is collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes only
- Data minimization: We collect only data that is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary
- Accuracy: We take reasonable steps to keep personal data accurate and up to date
- Storage limitation: Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes collected
- Integrity and confidentiality: Appropriate technical and organizational security measures protect your data
- Accountability: We maintain documentation demonstrating compliance with GDPR/AVG requirements
14.4 Your Data Subject Rights
Under GDPR/AVG, you have the following enforceable rights:
- Right to access: You can request information about what personal data we hold about you and for which purposes
- Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): You can request deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary, unless legal obligations require retention
- Right to restriction of processing: You can request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
- Right to data portability: You can receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and transmit it to another service provider
- Right to object: You can refuse processing for direct marketing, automated decisions, or profiling that significantly affects you
- Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing

14.5 Data Collection & Use
We collect and process the following categories of personal data:
- Contact information (name, email, phone number)
- Identity documents (passport, national ID for work permit processing)
- Employment history and qualifications (CV, certifications)
- Immigration status (visa type, work permit information)
- Payment information (billing details for service packages)
- Communication records (support inquiries, correspondence)
Each data category is collected only when necessary for delivering our services. We use this data to:
- Match you with suitable employment opportunities
- Process your registration and work permit documentation
- Provide support services according to your chosen package
- Communicate with you about your application and job placement
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
14.6 Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, secure data storage, and regular security assessments. All personal data is kept confidential and is only accessible to authorized personnel who require it to perform their duties.
14.7 Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
Your data may only be shared with:
- Employers you choose to apply to (with your consent)
- Service providers necessary for delivering our services (e.g., flight booking agencies, payment processors)
- Government authorities when required by law (e.g., immigration authorities, tax authorities)
- The One Stop Shop (City of Zagreb) when you request referral services
All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the specific purposes we authorize.
14.8 Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes collected or as required by law:
- Active user accounts: Data retained for the duration of your membership
- Closed accounts: Personal data deleted within 90 days unless legal retention requirements apply
- Financial records: Retained for 7 years as required by Croatian tax law
- Communication records: Retained for 2 years for quality assurance and dispute resolution
Once the retention period expires, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized.
14.9 Consent & Withdrawal
Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. We do not use pre-ticked boxes or interpret silence as consent.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal. To withdraw consent, please contact us at support@jobnetwork.online.
14.10 Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
We may use automated processes to match candidates with job opportunities based on qualifications, experience, and employer requirements. You have the right to request human intervention in these automated decisions and to express your point of view or contest the outcome.
14.11 International Data Transfers
If we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, to protect your data in accordance with GDPR/AVG standards.
14.12 Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with GDPR/AVG, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). In Croatia, this is the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
14.13 Updates to Privacy Practices
We may update our privacy and data protection practices from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through our Platform, and we will obtain fresh consent where required by law.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zagreb, Croatia.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Job Network Online disclaims liability under all European Union regulations, directives, and member state laws. Users acknowledge that Job Network operates as a volunteer support service and not as a regulated employment agency or legal service provider.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Job Network Online regarding the use of our Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
19. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

By using Job Network Online services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
You understand that Job Network Online does not provide legal advice or immigration legal services.
You accept all risks associated with international employment, immigration processes, and relocation, and you release Job Network Online from any and all liability related to your use of our services.
